Hugely interesting, once again, Sarah. Re. the gender politics in Pop Art, I was astounded to find out that Claes Oldenberg, he of the huge fabric hamburger etc., did not know how to sew! His wife did the actual work of sewing together his soft sculptures. Will look up the Lucy Lippard essay, it sounds good. Keep writing!
